Get Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests

Starting January 18th, all households in the United States can order a set of 4 at-home COVID-19 tests at no cost to them through the United States Postal Service. The sets will be limited to one per household. To order tests for your household visit: https://www.covidtests.gov.

Members who are actively participating in the Industry Wide Benefit Funds can also obtain at-home COVID-19 tests for free at the Queens, Brooklyn, and Harlem health centers or through reimbursement. Continue reading for more details.

Getting a Test from the Health Centers:

As of January 19, participating members may visit the Queens, Harlem, or Brooklyn health centers to pick up their free at-home COVID-19 tests. To ensure that there is a sufficient supply, the health centers are limiting pick-ups to two tests per week for all enrolled family members, and up to eight for each individual per calendar month. The tests will be available at the following locations:

Brooklyn health center: 265 Ashland Place, Brooklyn, NY 11217

Monday- Friday: 9:00am-12pm & 1:00pm-5:00pm

Harlem health center: 133 Morningside Ave., New York, NY 10027

Monday- Friday: 9:00am-12pm & 1:00pm-5:00pm

Queens health center: 37-11 Queens Blvd., LIC, NY 11101

Monday- Friday: 9:00am-12pm & 1:00pm-5:00pm

Reimbursing a Test:

Participating members are also able to purchase tests from out-of-network providers (on or after January 15, 2022) and the Benefit Funds will reimburse up to $12 per individual test.
